After trumpets of the apocalypse proclaim the fall of humanity, vampires arise from the shadows to rule the earth. Yūichirō wants just one thing—to get revenge by killing each and every vampire.
The attack on Nagoya continues! The Japanese Imperial Demon Army descends on the vampire nobles, aiming to exterminate them completely. The nobles fall one by one until vampire Crowley Eusford takes twenty human hostages. He aims to lure Guren out and capture him for information. Author's note[]
“ | With the death of someone close to me this year, I've begun to think more about life and its meaning. It's a theme I have started to explore more in my works too. Man, we authors really do think of everything in terms of our writing, huh? | ” |
“ | I hope you'll enjoy this volume as well. | ” |
Cover Details[]
Volume nine's feature image displays Mitsuba just after manifesting her Cursed Gear axe Tenjiryū as there are flickers of gold energy around the weapon. She holds the weapon by the grip in her left hand, with the handle of the weapon resting in her outstretched right hand. Depicted in color, Mitsuba's blond hair and purple eyes are shown, and she is wearing her Japanese Imperial Demon Army uniform. The dark color of the axe has an inscription on it, in addition to a neon green colored blade.
It is set outside amongst some rubble with a ruined building behind Mitsuba. For what could be the specific location being depicted, in the volume events, Mitsuba is currently partaking in the vampire noble extermination mission occurring in the city of Nagoya.
