Heya, when you have a moment up for adding the changed headings as references for the articles? Yes it's good the text reads more 'in universe' but even better if a reference can show people where the information is from : )
Light novel content, or anything that concerns the characters is also informative even if characters don't speak it so the reader knows what the 411 is like XD
Noting images that need renaming is a great idea, especially if the random code name images are come across. Perhaps images that already have legible names are best kept how they are unless there are better suggested names. With changing opinions on what constitutes a good name if they are changed, to be changed again depending on preferences that change with time... they have names, people get what they are about probably best to leave them as they are XD
Still images that absolutely need a name change, a good idea to do so!
? If you add an edit to that page and all the above, we can come to editing other pages later just with this window of opportunity best to add edits to these new pages before the hour passes. Ten minutes left for that one.
Okay this one page is good for you both to add an edit, will detail further later. Then once アノニマス has said they are ready, Rei Furuya you are set to begin creating pages from Vampire Attack/Image Gallery all the way for the chapters!
A good plan, create a page make sure the edit is in before an hour passes. If you do lose your place just check each new page today on Special:NewPages and check each page history to make sure you've scored it!
So here is a new page made at 20.17 today, you both have until 21.17 to add an edit ("edit a new page before an hour passes"), Rei you add 'Appearance' Anon you add 'Trivia'. That will count for both of you.
Do the same with the manga gallery pages and once the edits are in then the pages can be detailed properly later, the first goal here is to add an edit before the hour time limit expires.
Whenever you are ready Rei Furuya, copy and paste the manga chapter names and add /Image gallery after them!
Well done! See what the process entails? When you are on together again it's easy to get into the swing of things. If you create the page, then you both add an image gallery template each, that's one page counted for you. Move onto creating and editing the next image gallery page, and once all the pages have been made, then they can be returned to in order to add images.
Anon add an edit to this page within like five minutes, this one too then Rei can resume creating pages. I've already scored the badge, first one to do so, so can guide here and yes help detail the pages properly but for now it's making sure they count towards both your total page count.
With the Third it's fine to just add a full stop for the edit, the priority is making sure you don't miss the count. We can come back tomorrow and actually add the images, so long as the pages are made and count for everyone, that's the goal right now.
With your impressive dedication to editing did you want to increase the count further by taking part in this? Don’t worry if not, arranging a time for at least two people to be on at the same time may be challenging but it’s there if you would like to!
Wonderful! With your edit numbers and that you have a sizeable count towards the required score anyway figured it’s perfectly feasible. Of course anyone reading needn’t wait for an invite anyone and everyone can get and should get involved out the blue if they would like! Explained more here since there is a time frame since more than one person can work on this.
Okay tomorrow seems all perfect to begin this! Just in case you haven't seen, bringing this to your attention. When you are on at the same time can head straight into editing the pages Rei Furuya shall make!
Congratulations for the 5 digit edit count (10,000+)! If you would like, the images could always benefit from being added to the categories such as the Fairuse one for example. Similar matter for adding the licensing templates if that is a helpful direction to ramp up your edit count ever further!
The drawing works images are looking lovely : ) unfortunately wikis are faced with the extremely cruel reality that tabbers do not appear on portable devices, which are hoisting the future on online content. People would still see the long list of images with tabbers to separate them nowhere to be found. The Seraph of the End green tabbers at the top of the page, whilst they do not appear on phones, those ones still provide a handy link at the top of the page. The poor smaller rectangular tabbers do not appear at all!
It would be nicer if the drawing images could be placed on their own pages as you helpfully done before. That way also rather than on desktops having to click four times or something, all the images are there at a glance just as they are in the green tabber system on this wiki. The actual article page is then all good for an overview if not the actual staff round the table discussion for example, along with other written text.
Using the green tabs with the images in their area is in keeping with the rest of the wiki. Good here since they simply look nicer in that layout and easily viewed across all types of devices, with headings rather than tab names to keep them neat. Well that is one view anyway, do share what you feel is the best path forward since it’s an area you are working on.
It was a tricky one, guess it came down to that the green tabs were simply prettier looking than the other ones, with the bonus of appearing everywhere!
Still you had the right call, having the images all visible at once makes them look so much nicer. Agree there is just the right amount to keep it all on one page so removed the unnecessary pages that were marked for deletion. Did add the green headings for the images, think they look nice? If it could better simply undo, we are all after what is best!
Happy Easter to you, too! I’m only a day late so it still counts!
Since it involved pairings, and really emphasising the connections I did borrow the best ship in the world from the Shinya x Bread post you made. Figured it was the best example of true love, but if you would like to include in in your own blog post or anywhere else I could remove the Shinya x bread part. Not out to steal your glory, just had to be done with detailing largely a shipping blog and all XD
Ohhh I saw that earlier today ! :D I was actually going to comment something, but I just couldn't put it into words! Lol. Don't remove it dude, everyone deserves to know about the best ship of all time! Not putting it there would've been plain bias and denial.
Those images added for the second cour are especially fantastic, looking real good! Also thank you so much for sorting out the references as well.
On referencing what are your thoughts on having more of them on article pages? For example one for each paragraph and for key scenes. Like with Shinoa here your first reference for the paragraph on the left, readers may check the manga pages to see the art/facial expressions and everything for the character in question on those pages. Then there would be another reference for the next paragraph so that way every page concerning Shinoa and her experiences can be seen - everything will have been covered. In addition if they are broken up it helps pinpoint exactly where the reader can observe these moments which might be more helpful for them to locate in the source material.
The references you added on the left here were truly helpful, they covered every event, pages for scenarios and specific ones for key scenes. Perhaps this is the great detail that the articles could benefit from?
Hey, I'm exactly the same adding edits where planned then coming to messages to make sure they can be answered in depth, so that’s all good.
Yes if the wiki goes all out for complete detail with references that would be quite something. Does this example seem apt, and how it looks on the page itself? Like rather than 19-35 which covers a lot, they can be more specific: The first reference there, pages 12-15 allows people to see Shinoa and to cover the information mentioned in that paragraph. Shinoa’s not on pages 16-18 with the flashback so next point and appearance is pages 19-21, not on page 22, so new reference 22-25 for that information. Shinoa is on page 26 but rather than carry on with a reference with a lot of pages, it’s a new point/paragraph on the article so separate reference for that.
That way the points are backed up with the official content, it helps people pinpoint the exact area where they can see these scenes. Then at the bottom of the page with the references list people would be able to see every last page Shinoa appears on for total coverage. That could be promising?
Sure, yes that has been removed as seen in recent changes, though remember admins are able to rename images that have been uploaded to the wiki. For future would it be easier to rename them rather than delete/upload again?
Oh my goodness, i took waaaaaaay to long to respond to this, I'm so sorry for making you wait over two weeks. Excuse my laziness.
Having more detailed and separate refs for page numbers in chaps (and oh god i did not notice that page error before 0_0 how i did is beyond me) wouldnt be bad, so i agree with you and will start on it sometime....idk when tho since im a mess lol.
Yeah, renaming the pic next time would be easier, i'll try to remember that if i ever make a mistake again. Thank you for removing it btw.
