Story Arcs[]

Prologue[]

The prologue introduces what happened to the world four years ago. A mysterious virus brought the world to a sudden end, and only children survived who were then enslaved by vampires. It also introduces Yūichirō Hyakuya and Mikaela Hyakuya, who are among the group of orphanage children in the underground city of Sanguinem, the third capital of the vampire world, and Ferid Bathory, a seventh progenitor, who has taken a liking to Mikaela's blood.

Second Shibuya High Arc[]

The Second Shibuya High Arc is the first story arc in the Seraph of the End series. The arc focuses on Yūichirō four years later, after his escape from Sanguinem and his rescue by Guren Ichinose. He finds himself with humanity after the fall in Tokyo, where he attends Second Shibuya High and meets Shinoa Hīragi, Yoichi Saotome and Shihō Kimizuki. Meanwhile, Mikaela has been turned into a vampire by Krul Tepes, a third progenitor and the vampire queen of Japan, and hopes to find Yūichirō.

Shinjuku Arc[]

The Shinjuku Arc is a major story arc in the Seraph of the End storyline. It introduces Mitsuba Sangū as the newest member of Shinoa squad. The arc focuses on the squad's first mission to Harajuku then Shinjuku. It also depicts the battle between the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and the vampires in Shinjuku. For Yūichirō and Mikaela, this arc marks the first time they meet each other since Yu's escape from Sanguinem four years ago.

Post-Shinjuku Arc[]

The Post-Shinjuku Arc is a story arc in the Seraph of the End storyline. The arc is centered on everyone in Shinoa squad after the JIDA successfully defends Shinjuku from the vampires. Mitsuba is promoted to second lieutenant, while Yūichirō is summoned by the Hīragi family who accuse him of being a traitor. A few days later, Yūichirō and Kimizuki learn to completely master and materialize their Cursed Gears.

Nagoya Arc[]

The Nagoya Arc is a major story arc in the Seraph of the End storyline. The arc focuses on the effort to prevent an all-out massacre in Tokyo by the vampire's army in one month's time. Kureto Hīragi orders Guren Ichinose to launch a preemptive strike on Nagoya, where ten vampire nobles are building a base, with one hundred soldiers from the Moon Demon Company and his three black demon wielders.

Post-Nagoya Arc[]

The Post-Nagoya Arc is a story arc in the Seraph of the End storyline. The arc is centered on Shinoa squad after the invasion in Nagoya. As they have no other options, the group plans to get help from Krul but Ferid and Crowley interrupt their plans. They propose becoming the group’s new friends and Ferid reveals the true purpose of the Seraph of the End project. Meanwhile, third progenitor, Lest Karr and second progenitor Urd Geales arrive from Europe after hearing of Krul's situation.

Osaka Arc[]

The Osaka Arc is a story arc in the Seraph of the End storyline. Lest Karr and Urd arrive in Japan and Ferid and Krul are condened to the Torture of the Sun being supervisioned by Ky Luc. Crowley takes Yu and his friends to Ferid's mansion where they meet Guren.

Shibuya Arc[]

The Shibuya Arc is a story arc in the Seraph of the End storyline. The arc tells about the Shinoa squad and the rest of the characters who come to Shibuya to confront First. This arc shows the possession of Shinoa's body by Shikama, Memories of the past in Ancient Greece, the battle between Saitō and Shikama, the awakening of the Guren's demon Noya, the battle between Guren and Mika with Yu. The arc ends with Mika's death as a vampire and his transformation into a demon.

Post-Shibuya Arc[]

The Post-Shibuya Arc is a arc in the Seraph of the End storyline. This arc focuses on the Demon Mika and Yuichiro, who wants to save him. Yuichiro and the squad escape with Krul. Later, they are joined by Guren and Mahiru, who want to turn Mika into a cursed gear. Also shown is the battle between Asuramaru with demons and Demon Mika. Yu and Mika successfully make a contract. After Shikama is locked up, Ferid and Crowley join them and Guren's team leaves together.

Akihabara Arc[]

The Akihabara Arc is a story arc in the Seraph of the End storyline. In this arc, Guren's team travels to Akihabara, where the corpses of their family are located. In the end, Yu is faced with a choice between Mika and the whole world, and Yu chooses Mika, becoming the enemy of the whole team. And the vampires at this time are torturing Shikama and the secrets of the past associated with Mika are revealed. Arc ends with Yu and Mika escaping from Tokyo.

Mount Fuji Arc[]

The Mount Fuji Arc is a story arc in the Seraph of the End storyline. Having escaped from everyone, Mika and Yu hide at the foot of Mount Fuji. Together they decide to explore their memories and learn a lot about themselves, Shikama Doji and the past. Shikama Doji's past is doscovered, as is the revelation that Yu is Mikaela, but Mika is a homunculus.
