Takaya Kagami (鏡貴也 Kagami Takaya?) is a Japanese light novel and manga writer.[1] He is the creator of Seraph of the End alongside other works, such as The Legend of Legendary Heroes and A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives, which have been adapted into anime shows.

Takaya Kagami was born on May 22, 1979.[1] When he was a child, he lived by a Church, and naturally gathered information about Christianity. This knowledge helped him create Owari no Seraph.[2]
