After trumpets of the apocalypse proclaim the fall of humanity, vampires arise from the shadows to rule the earth. Yūichirō wants just one thing—to get revenge by killing each and every vampire.
Three months have passed since the invasion in Nagoya, and Yūichirō, Mika and Shinoa Squad are all on the run from both the vampires and the humans! Just as they resolve to ask Krul Tepes for help, Ferid Bathory and Crowley Eusford intercept them with a suspicious proposal to become the group’s new best friends, bringing with them a special hostage for good measure and the secret of the true purpose of the Seraph of the End project.

Author's note[]
“ | I wrote about this in the afterword too, but Mr. Yamamoto and I went to Germany! That's when we both noticed—we have the same model of camera! His is the Mark the II version. Mine is the Mark III. Our interpreter had the Mark VI version! Cheers!! ->clinking of cameras<- Germany was fun. | ” |
“ | The last character you expected has returned! New, shocking information is revealed! Lots of exciting happening in this volume. This story is coming ever closer to its core. I hope you enjoy it! | ” |
Cover Details[]
Volume twelve's cover focuses on Asuramaru, seen in color, with Yu as a demon behind him. More than likely floating, Asuramaru has his hand outstretched and appears delighted. His long hair is not seen as much, the emphasis is on the swirling dark energy in its place around him. The same color as his dark blue hair, the smoke like substance is darker on the left of the image, then more purple and lighter appearing on the right. In places it appears as a galaxy lit sky. A distinct background from this view appears somewhat crystalline, with a blue rock like formation, and yellow streak viewable in the top left of the image. Similar green lines streaking behind Yu are also seen. Where Asuramaru is in the light, Yu is behind him, his form darkened in the shade. Fixed on something different he can see, Yu appears somewhat crazed. Likely on account of drawing upon demonic power from his Cursed Gear sword that he is holding, Yu's state is indicated by the curse marks spread on his cheeks, as well as his left eye being red when the regular color is green.
