After trumpets of the apocalypse proclaim the fall of humanity, vampires arise from the shadows to rule the earth. Yūichirō wants just one thing—to get revenge by killing each and every vampire.
The battle in Shinjuku rages on as millennia-old schemes continue to influence events now unfolding. Despite her best efforts, Shinoa struggles to suppress Shikama Dōji, who soon overpowers her and makes his escape! Meanwhile, Yūichirō is resolved to save Mika’s soul. Mika possesses Yūichirō, and memories from a lost time flood the demon’s mind. And as Mika digs further into the human’s soul, he begins to question if Yūichirō is even human himself...

Cover Details[]
The cover for volume 25 features Yūichirō Hyakuya reacting to Demon Mika moving around him. Both having swords draw, Yu's Cursed Gear sword Asuramaru is wielded, where demon Mika holds the sword Mika had. Based on volume events, namely chapter 103, this scenario is them in the dream representation of the store in Nagoya where Yu and Mika were reunited a second time before the latter drank human blood to become a true vampire in chapter 36 of Volume 10.
Above them in the cover setting, Mikaela Hyakuya is visualized and appears as a human teenager, where he was seen like this in chapter 104. Here, as with demon Mika, his eyes are blue, his original color before they changed to vampire red. Some casual clothing he appears to be wearing is green in coloration. Where the dream world Yu wakes in was described as having a blood red sky in chapter 103, on the cover a golden glow shines across the scene. Lightning up the inside of what was a dark store, the golden appearing sunlight makes Yu's attire, particularly his boots brighter, yet does not do the same for demon Mika who has a dark blue theme to his appearance, particularly his cloak, and tail. Part of demon Mika's tail appears to form with the light, of which there is a particularly bright section in the lower right corner of the image.
