Seraph of the End 2 (終わりのセラフ 2 Owari no Serafu 2?) is the second volume of the Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign manga, written by Takaya Kagami and illustrated by Yamato Yamamoto.

Volume two's cover features Mikaela Hyakuya. As a partial vampire, Mika's eyes remain blue yet his fangs are displayed. The golden guard, and red bladed sword he can wield has the spiked vines deployed, where they are dark in coloration in their appearances on the left, and top right of the image. His blond hair color seen, Mika's clothing which includes a cape is also shown to be largely white, with golden ornate chain like pieces, along with blue gemstones adorning his attire. He also wears black boots reaching up to his thighs, with three golden buttons seen. A light illuminates the left side of Mika.
Crouched in a built up area that does not resemble the outside ruined world, it seems a depiction of Mika as a vampire, within a vampire city. Sanguinem would be most likely, with Mika being seen there during the chapters. The crumbled like rock formations Mika is crouching on, along with his battle like pose, may indicate a separate setting taking place elsewhere. Mika's past and present experiences are detailed predominantly in Chapter 5.

Story[]
A mysterious virus decimates the human population, and vampires claim dominion over the world. Yuichiro and his adopted family of orphans are kept as vampire fodder in an underground city until the day Mikaela, Yuichiro's best friend, plots an ill-fated escape for the orphans. Ony Yuichiro survives and reaches the surface.
Four years later, after Yuichiro swears revenge against vampires for the death of his family, he's accepted into the Moon Demon Company, a Vampire Extermination Unit in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. He begins his training with Yoichi under the supervision of Shinoa and the commander of Lieutenant Colonel Guren Ichinose.
Meanwhile, a boy looking much like a grown Mikaela shows up in the vampire city of Sanguinem. Has Mikaela joined the vampires?[2]
